What's in a name?
d12 Core - Ashcan Edition » Devlog
I am stuck between 'd12Core' and 'The Flux Engine' for this game. The first describes an important mechanic, and the second captures the spirit. Which one grabs your attention and sounds more interesting? I feel d12Core sounds very generic, and considering how much it has evolved mechanics-wise, it doesn't quite represent it anymore. But it's short and catchy. The FLux Engine nicely meshes with the Flux Dice mechanic and sounds more evocative to me, but I am biased :-) 1 or 2? Or do you have a 3? Let me know in the comments!

I like Flux Engine better, but the d12 is good to help inform the game system. What about combining them into something like “D12 Flux”…?
Thanks for your thoughts! Since the d12 dice is called the Flux Dice in the game, I am not sure if this would be confusing or strengthen the game in terms of recognition, but I like the idea of it a lot.
